Having to choose between a punch or a kiss from former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion and UFC 200 co-headliner Brock Lesnar is the kind of stuff nightmares are made of. But those were the two options presented to fellow WWE superstar Chris Jericho, who confronted the pasty-faced Goliath at last weekend’s SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) event in Brooklyn, New York.
Turns out Lesnar — ever the gentle giant — sliced open Randy Orton during their main event showcase, leaving “The Viper” with 10 staples across his dome to close the gaping wound. Our friends at Cageside Seats have a photo of said bloodbath (see it), if you’re into that kind of thing. Jericho went apeshit backstage and demanded an explanation from Lesnar, then chastised him for being unsafe inside the squared circle.
Silly little Jericho.
That’s when Lesnar shoved “Y2J” and then planted a kiss on his forehead. When Jericho failed to reciprocate, Lesnar ordered him to “hit me or kiss me, bitch.” The word “pussy” was also used at some point, but I’ll spare you the finer details, lovingly laid out by pro wrasslin’ expert Geno Mrosko right here. Lesnar just can’t seem to keep himself out of the headlines these days, thanks to a failed drug test and one angry ex-opponent.
Hey, if Lesnar likes to “work stiff,” maybe he can rematch Mark Hunt in the steel cage at WrestleMania 33!
